Aleksandra Szostak

I am a First-Class LLB Graduate, and have recently completed the Barrister's Training Course (awaiting results); and am currently undertaking an LLM.

I can provide lessons in the following law modules:

Throughout my time at university, I was awarded:
- The top performing student in the Criminal Law with Mooting Module.
- The top performing student on the Mooting Module.
- The Dean's Award for Outstanding Achievement.
- A Professional Courses Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Additionally, I undertook the role of President for the Mooter's Guild for which I was awarded a certificate in recognition of outstanding leadership and significant contribution this has made to student experience and the community.

Additionally, I have undertaken volunteering work at a solicitor's law firm, including acting as student leader in an Outreach Project in which I gained experience in meeting clients, in-depth legal research and drafting letters of advice. I was named 'Lead Volunteer at the Law Firm, due to my outstanding contributions. This opportunity allowed me to develop a variety of skills, among utilising legal knowledge in a practical setting. I have also volunteered with Support Through Court.

At first, I will provide students with the necessary knowledge of the law in the area they are seeking tutoring in. Once the knowledge has been understood, I will provide students with a well-developed structure to answering problem questions. I will provide students with practice problem questions, work through the answers with them and provide feedback.
