My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student. I start by finding out what you already know, what you’re struggling with and what you want to achieve, then structure each session around your individual needs. As someone who has previously achieved an A* in A-Level Sociology, I understand how important it is to not only know the content, but also know the significance of acknowledging how to apply it in exams. I plan to be supportive with key theories and concepts, research methods, essay structure, evaluation, exam questions and revision strategies for Eduqas GCSE and A-Level Sociology. I use clear explanations, examples, active questioning and practice exam questions to make lessons engaging rather than simply going through notes. I’ll also give you constructive feedback so you know exactly what you’re doing well and what you can improve. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where you can ask questions without feeling judged, build your confidence and make real progress. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or aiming for the very top grades, I’ll work with you to help you get there.
