I am a dedicated and qualified Early Years teacher with a B.Ed in Early Childhood Care and Education and over four years of classroom experience teaching English, Phonics and Mathematics to children aged 3-11.

My lessons are fun, interactive and child-centred. I believe every child can succeed when learning is made simple and engaging. For Phonics, I use Jolly Phonics sounds, blending, segmenting and fun games to build confident readers and writers. For English, I focus on reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, spelling and vocabulary development. For Maths, I make numbers easy with visual aids, practical examples and step-by-step practice to build strong foundations in addition, subtraction, multiplication and problem solving.

I also support university students studying BA (Hons) Early Years Education and Care with assignments, child development theories including Piaget, Vygotsky, Montessori, EYFS framework, safeguarding, lesson planning and academic writing and referencing.

My teaching format is online via Zoom or Google Meet, which makes it easy for pupils in Nottingham, Westminster, across the UK and in Asaba to learn from home. Each lesson starts with a quick recap, followed by clear explanations, interactive activities and homework support.
