Aisling Sweeney

Hi! My name is Aisling, and I’m a native English teacher from Ireland with a TEFL certification and two years of teaching experience both online and in the classroom. I’ve worked with learners of all ages—from toddlers as young as two to adult students—and I’m especially experienced in helping students prepare for English exams, particularly the Cambridge English Exams.

Whether you’re a very young learner, an adult just beginning your English journey, or an intermediate speaker looking to level up, I have classes designed to support your goals. My lessons are fully adapted to meet each student’s needs—whether that’s conversational English, professional English, or exam preparation.

I love teaching both one-to-one and small group lessons. Each class includes a variety of engaging activities to help students develop all four key skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I believe learning happens best when it’s fun, so I make sure to include games, music, and interactive elements in every lesson—especially for my younger learners!

In my classroom, there’s no such thing as a silly question. I believe learning English is less about perfection and more about building confidence and feeling comfortable using the language. Grammar and accuracy are included in every lesson, but the main focus is always on creating a supportive environment where students feel free to speak and participate.
