I will be using my own notes, diagrams and explanations in order to convey the understanding of the concepts to the student in order to personalise the learning towards the student and avoid potentially disinteresting or disengaging the student by using Microsoft PowerPoint. I will be using Apple Notes hopefully to assist in my teaching. I have previously had experience of tutoring my younger sibling in their study of GCSE Physics, using similar methods consistently.
Chemistry, at the GCSE Level, can seem quite complicated, owing to the presence of topics such as electrolysis, which requires a strong understanding of the relative reactivity between different elements. Additionally, topics such as Titration Calculations, can test whether a student has built up strong mathematical foundations in their study of chemistry, and so can be tricky, both conceptually and mathematically. Therefore, it can be important to see why seeking help through tutoring can be effective. I really do hope I’m able to try my best in order to help you!
