Hi! My name is Aditi and I teach maths and sciences. As an aspiring medical student, I know the importance of being able to learn in a way that suits you- after all, the more learning is catered to an individuals' needs, the quicker they will learn.

I have been teaching young people aged 12-19 for over 3 years, having completed courses to enhance my teaching ability and ensure students are receiving the best learning experience possible.

I combine different learning styles: visual, auditory, kinaesthetic and read/write to ensure all students are being taught in a way that suits their needs and requirements. I am also a flexible tutor, meaning I can adapt to specific needs and requirements of a student to ensure they have an effective learning environment.

While learning new knowledge can be tricky, I recognise the importance of having fun while learning, so I try to make lessons as engaging as possible, whether this be through quick quizzes, or through using platforms like Blooket and Kahoot to enhance learning. I strive to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment is created so that students do not hesitate to ask any questions they may have.

In lessons with me, students can expect to learn specific topics that either they struggle with, or are commonly struggled with by students. Alongside this, students will be able to follow worked examples and exam questions to consolidate their understanding. Students can also present me with homework or exam questions of their own to be able to work through at their own pace with the help of a tutor.
