Abyan Saami

I am a first-year MEng Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, currently achieving first-class marks. I offer online tutoring and written feedback in GCSE Maths, GCSE English Language and Literature, and GCSE/A-Level Art portfolio development.

I achieved grade 9s across all GCSE subjects, including Maths, Further Maths, English Language, English Literature and Art. I scored 90%+ in both GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths, achieved 100% in GCSE Art, and have over two years of tutoring and academic mentoring experience.

My tutoring is clear, structured and exam-focused. I help students understand where marks are being lost, how to improve their answers, and how to use repeatable methods in exams. For Maths, I focus on problem-solving, past-paper technique and clear correction steps. For English, I focus on essay structure, analysis, mark schemes and timed exam responses. For Art, I focus on sketchbook development, annotation, artist research, experimentation and final-piece planning.

I can also provide written feedback outside lessons, such as marking Maths work, reviewing English essays, or giving structured comments on Art sketchbook pages and portfolios. I do not complete work for students; I give feedback, direction and practical improvement advice so they can develop their own work more confidently.

My aim is to make students more accurate, more confident and more strategic in their subjects.
