After 3 years of supporting non-history related workshops and lessons to various ages, I understand communication to be the backbone of effective learning and information retention. As such, my lessons rely on clear and effective communication to determine their structure, timescales, and focus. Once determined, I will provide a plan of what will be covered and when for you specific learning journey. Everyone has struggled at some point in their education journey, me included, and there is no harm in gaining extra help when it is needed.

The aim of my lessons is to help you overcome your struggles with the subject by assessing, through conversation, the various smaller factors that underpin you larger struggles. By breaking down the problems into smaller tasks, I will aim to provide you tailored support to help you to understand how the little things are likely impacting the larger issue. Tackling one thing at a time, I will provide you with the building blocks to support you in overcoming your struggles and the framework to apply this to future struggles.

I take the view that when learning their are no stupid questions, every question results in an answer that will enable you to further your knowledge in some form. During lessons, if there is something that you do not understand, something that you thing could be improved, or something that you simply think is wrong ... LET ME KNOW! I want to hear why you think what you think? What has led you to this question? How can you use the answer i give you to inform your work? Questions benefit both me and you as they help to get a better understanding of each others though process.
