I have some experience volunteering teaching high school students to read and helping them develop comprehension skills, and also have a little babysitting experience. I am open to doing online and in person private tutoring, however would like to remain within 1 hour of my home and school area if I am tutoring in person. I received a grade 9 in GCSE Italian, GCSE English Literature and GCSE Geography and a grade 8 in GCSE English Language ( All equivalent to an A* ). As a Year 12 that just recently completed my GCSE's I believe I have a fresh and comprehensive understanding of the GCSE specification and mark schemes that is crucial to tutoring at GCSE level. I also have a more extensive understanding of the subjects I offer to tutor as I am currently studying A level Geography and Philosophy, both of which build on GCSE English and Geography. Regarding my competancy to tutor Italian, I am half Italian myself and speak Italian at a native speaker level, having utilized my skills in the language to compete in the Queens College Oxford University Anthea Bell Prize for young translators.
