Abdul Hamid Sowa

Hello. My name is Abdul Hamid Sowa, and I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor currently pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Aberdeen. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, where I built a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.

I have one year of teaching experience at the secondary school level, where I helped students develop a clear understanding of core Chemistry concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, and thermodynamics etc. My lessons are interactive and designed to simplify complex ideas through real-life applications, visual aids, and guided practice.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, ensuring that every topic is fully understood before moving forward. My approach focuses on building confidence, problem-solving skills, and exam techniques that lead to strong academic results.
