I am a very understanding person who helps people whenever and wherever they need help. I aim to keep a very positive and nurturing environment when tutoring and I don’t believe in shouting or yelling or scolding at students as I feel that scaring students isn’t a good way to teach, I believe that everyone should have the get the same amount of respect and I have a lot of patience which is helpful when tutoring people. I also incorporate different interactive games and content into my lessons for younger pupils, such as word bingo or word searches or games that I have made up myself, which have proven to help many students as they are actively involved in the learning which most students find to be more helpful rather than sitting and listening, but I will try different methods and techniques to see which works best for you and what you feel most comfortable with. For children I can help with areas such as spelling, reading, writing and speaking, at a basic level to get them started for school and etc, as well as writing sentences in the correct order and so on. I am currently on track to achieve an A in English in my 5th year of high school, so I feel that I am very capable of teaching English to those who don’t speak English as their first language. I work well with people of different backgrounds as I my self am Pakistani/British and I understand the struggle of feeling different, which allows me to connect more with students.
