I offer interactive and engaging lessons which aim to cater to individual needs. I teach through practical strategies which allow for students to gain confidence in writing as well as achieve strong academic results. My mission is to ensure each student succeeds and feels proud of their achievements. I utilise online resources to aid my teaching, as well as making use of methods that have been taught to me. I would use close reading techniques to build an understanding of themes and context, then implement the knowledge taught through making use of questions from the specific exam board being studied. This way, students are prepared for their exams with content they are familiar and confident with, as well as able to apply their knowledge in their answers effectively. I also aim to develop and support students' own ideas to adapt them into well written responses. Paragraph structure is something I make sure to go over, ensuring that students are able to structure their answers and receive top marks. I am available to teach online on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams or any other platforms which the student prefers. I currently study English Literature and Creative Writing at University which has allowed me to gain strong analytical skills that I can implement into teaching. I hope each of my lessons are insightful as well as fun for the student and that they enjoy the experience I provide. I look forward to helping you gain confidence and seeing you reach your potential.
