I am a medical student, who tutors GCSE double and triple science of all levels!

I am currently training to be a doctor in medical school, and enjoy working with younger patients as well as enjoying my previous tutoring jobs at school. I have found the most effective way to reach goals and seek improvement is to make lessons student-centred. Focusing on what the student finds most tricky and breaking things down into digestible facts. Understanding how each individual learns is key to learning. Therefore, I aim to understand what the student already understands of the subject, and build up from these foundations by finding the way in which the student best learns. In this way I aim to reach fast and sustained progress. Additionally setting goals whether it be a grade, or a sense of understanding is key in tutoring to know whether progress is being made. Setting goals at the start of our sessions is key.
