I have taught English as a second language (ESOL) for over fifteen years, teaching a wide variety of ages, abilities and levels. I like to get to know the student first and their interests and then build exercises around what they want to communicate about - who they need to communicate with and why. I'm a visual artist so I use a lot of drawing in my lessons and have tried and tested successful means of helping people learn the difference between the different tenses and why and when to use them. I've helped students prepare for exams and know how to effectively use online platforms to improve their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills in English. I've helped refugees, business people and young adults to learn and to improve their English and I can help you too.
