I strongly adhere to the quote that ‘Education is the best legacy parents can give their children’. As a teacher, I hope to motivate students in discovering their inner abilities and inadequacies through the application of my complete understandings of the subject. I hope to create a learning environment that encourages children to trust in their own opinions while fostering confidence in order for students to fully realize their potentials.
My years of experience thus far have made me discover that if students construct their own learning experience, they will not only retain information longer, they will also become more confident in their abilities. Hence, I apply the method of facilitating rather than dictating to the students, a better beneficial style of teaching. Being devoted to this assertion confirms that I have made the right career choice for myself. I love working with children and I will continue to strive to be a positive influence in their lives.
I hope to continuously instill a love for learning and a desire for constant quest for knowledge in every student I come across with. The reason I create Educational Content for YouTube NG – Learning English and Literature – to share my knowledge with every secondary school student sitting WASSCE/NECO, IGCSE, AS & A Levels, Checkpoint, IELTS and SAT.
