11+ Specialist and English Exam Tutor

I have been a private tutor for over four years and love to work with students to help them to move towards their goals. I spent a further year in the classroom teaching English, and two years as a Learning Coordinator designing and delivering bespoke courses. I support students to increase their confidence and performance in all four of the 11+ subjects and prepare them for CEM, GL and private school entry exams. I have a First Class BA (Hons) in English with Philosophy and teach English Literature and Language up to 'A' Level. I am PTLLs and CELTA qualified to teach.

My lessons are interactive, engaging and individually tailored. I start with an assessment so that I can identify development areas and regularly assess after this to ensure progression. I focus on instilling enjoyment, understanding and the confidence for independent learning in the subjects that I teach.
