Times table is a blocking stone that tends to haunt every maths student in their life. Well, I was one of them when I had to learn them. So, what did I do? How did I learn? I am here to tell you how you can learn Times Tables. The first thing that you have to do is to not be scared of the learning. Today, you might think that there is no use, I will not be able to do it. Change your attitude. So many children do, so can you!! Now, write your times table on a sheet. But remember, write by yourself. Write by using the concept of Times Table, like how does 2 times 2 is calculates? Simply, by adding 2 two time which is 2+2=4. So, follow this and write down all times table you want to memorize. Now, once you have written, you will see a pattern in few times tables, like table of 2 is simply even numbers (2,4,6,8,10... and so on), table of 5 is numbers ending with zero and five(5,10,15,20... and so on), table of 11 has numbers with same unit and ten's digit (11,22,33,44... and so on). There are many more such tricks that help you easily memorize such tables. Now that you have a list of tables and some of which you have learnt, its time to focus on others. Start by reading them. Yes, no need to pressure your mind into learning, just read them aloud atleat 5 times a day. After your every read, write what you retain. You will soon relise that you are able to retain some numbers. So, continue this, read aloud and write. Apart from this, you can have a learning buddy who can be your friend or sibling. Both you and your buddy set a goal of learning and ask each other at the end of the day. Since, both of you are same age, the pressure will be less but outcome will be good. At last, take up jumbles questions and practice. Remember, practice is the key to be succesful in maths. All the best :)
