What is a FindTutor Ambassador?  

Our FindTutors Ambassadors are the face of our platform - they represent what it means to be a successful tutor and provide an insight into the methodology behind giving great classes. They’re also a crucial source of feedback for us, so like your students, we can also continue to learn and grow.    

In short, becoming a FindTutors Ambassador means you’ll be recognised as being among our best private tutors, who go above and beyond to give exceptional classes.

What does being an Ambassador involve?

As we value our Ambassadors to be the voice of our tutoring community, we’ll ask you to have a short and informal interview with us. The idea is to give you a chance to tell us about your tutoring expertise, with a particular focus on your specialist subject. 

The interview will be recorded, so that we can share your experience, not just with other tutors, but more importantly, with our community of students on our social media channels, blog, and with the press.

This interview can come in many different formats, depending on your preferences:

• Video: The recorded video call is an opportunity for you to have at least one professionally edited video of yourself in action. You can share it to attract prospective students, and we will distribute it across our blog, social media channels, and with other media outlets. • Media: There may be opportunities for you to be contacted by local or national media to share your experiences via radio, TV or web pages - giving you even more exposure outside the FindTutors community.

• Audio or written interview: If you’d prefer to save the video time for your classes, you can use one of our written forms or have an audio only interview. In either case, we will promote your wisdom (and profile!) across our blog and social media channels.

What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?

• Increased visibility for your FindTutors Profile

Your interview will be published in some of our most viewed blog posts, as well as our social media channels, which will mean your profile will be seen by all of our FindTutors community. Once students see your experience and subject knowledge, they’ll be more likely to book a private class with you.

• Opportunity to give feedback

Is there something on our platform that you think could be improved? During the interview, you’ll have the opportunity to share any feedback or ideas you have with our team.

• Promote your classes on your social media

We’re not the only ones who can shout about your great classes - once our expert editors have worked their magic, you’ll have at least one interview video you can share across all your social media channels. 

How can I become an Ambassador?

You'll be a great fit to become a FindTutors Ambassador if you’re passionate about tutoring and meet this criteria:

1. You have a complete profile on FindTutors, including a photo, description and advert.
2. You have at least three 5* star reviews from the past 6 months.
3. You're active on FindTutors and you respond to all messages from students.
4. You're based in the UK.
