I coach as well as teach, helping students discover how to learn, not just what to learn. I begin by identifying strengths, difficulties and individual goals, then create engaging, challenging, personalised lessons. For exams, I ensure students understand exactly what they need to know, what examiners expect and how to gain marks. I teach practical study skills, build confidence and encourage independent thinking. Learning a language should also be enjoyable, opening doors to new cultures, people and experiences. My aim is to inspire curiosity, unlock potential and give students skills for life.
