Hello, my name is Rachael and I am a CELTA qualified English teacher who has over twelve years experience working in schools with children and young adults. I currently work supporting students in a high school. These students have a range of special educational needs. My teaching style is relaxed and fun and I like to use a range of styles and materials to keep my lessons interesting and engaging. I am a big believer in looking at students individually and taking into account their preferred learning styles so that I can adapt my lesson for them to achieve and get the most out of each lesson. I am friendly and adaptable and like to take a conversational approach to my lessons as I believe the more practice students get in conversing in English, the more confident they become. I like to keep my lessons student focussed and led so that the student is leading in the way in terms of what they want to learn, how I deliver this and the pace and style in which the lesson takes place as I think this way both the student and I get the most out of each lesson. I am a very calm and patient person and will always go above and beyond to make sure my students are enjoying my lessons and getting everything that they need from me. I really look forward to meeting you, learning about you and teaching you English to the best of my ability.
