I am a sociable and outgoing person and I deal with people easily

Advert description
I Studied a Pharmacy degree and an Educational Master in Spain. After finishing my masters, I decided to move to the Uk in order to teach in a British School. In June 2017, I achieved the QTS and after the summer break I started working as a supply teacher in several schools in South London. In January 2018, I applied for a short term position in Hollyfield School in Surbiton in which I worked as a Teacher of Science in KS3 and KS4. Later on, I applied for another short term position in April 2018 in Ursuline High School in Wimbledon. At the end of that academic year, I had the opportunity to apply for a permanent job in St Philomenas Catholic School for Girls. There, I was a Teacher of Science in KS3 and KS4, Teacher of Applied Science in KS5 and Applied Science CV development Leader. Moreover, I was a Tutor for years 10 and 11. Unfortunately, in 2020, I decided to come back to Spain because of Covid. Since I came back to Bilbao, I have been teaching in Jesús María School as a Teacher of Science and Maths in KS3 and KS4, Chemistry and Physics in A level. Since I started working as a teacher, I have been involved in several international projects in the STEAM field. I was instructed by the University of Deusto and The National Physical Laboratory in the UK. After four years as a STEAM coordinator in Jesús María School, we participated with our SALL project in the Basque Country STEAM awards rewarding the first finalist position after the two winners and achieving the STEAM label for my school. Furthermore, I took part in a summer school in Greece with the European founders of the SALL project, after which I implemented improvements to the project and collaborated at the Elhuyar fair in Arenal. Personally, I am very interested in how new technologies affect education and the way we teach. It is necessary to develop critical thinking in our students to improve their ability to distinguish, analyse and evaluate the information surrounding us. I am a highly motivated and trustworthy person. I can face challenges and work well under pressure. Regarding the work, I plan all my lessons and tasks in advance to achieve all my targets on time to get deadlines. I am a sociable and outgoing person and I deal with people easily. After 8 years of teaching, I decided to start a remote job to improve the time I spend with my family.
