Skills, Experience, and Teaching Approach
I am a dedicated and patient educator with a strong background in communication, customer support, administration, and online collaboration. Throughout my professional career, I have developed excellent verbal and written English communication skills, which have enabled me to interact confidently with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. My experience in customer service and operations management has strengthened my ability to explain complex information clearly, listen actively, adapt to individual needs, and build positive relationships—qualities that are equally essential in effective online teaching.
In addition to my professional experience, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Science through an online university. This has given me first-hand experience as an online learner, allowing me to understand the importance of engaging lessons, clear communication, timely feedback, and personalized support. I appreciate that every student learns differently, and I believe successful teaching involves adapting lessons to meet each learner's pace, goals, and preferred learning style.
I possess excellent organizational and time management skills, enabling me to prepare structured lesson plans while maintaining flexibility to respond to students' individual learning needs. I am confident using digital communication platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office, making it easy to deliver interactive and well-organized virtual lessons. I am also comfortable incorporating multimedia resources, quizzes, presentations, and conversational activities to keep students motivated and engaged.
If given the opportunity to teach English online, I would begin by understanding each student's current level of English proficiency, learning objectives, strengths, and areas for improvement. This initial assessment would help me design lessons that are relevant, practical, and aligned with the student's personal or professional goals, whether they are learning English for academic purposes, work, travel, examinations, or everyday communication.
My teaching style would be student-centred, interactive, and encouraging. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
