Oxford Classics graduate teaching Latin, Ancient Greek and English Literature to GCSE/A Level students online.

I will follow structured curricula for Latin and Ancient Greek, while adapting each lesson to suit the individual student and their learning style. I want lessons to feel friendly, relaxed and encouraging. creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Alongside developing grammar, vocabulary and translation skills, I will focus on building confidence and helping students understand how and why the languages work, rather than simply memorising rules. I will use a mixture of explanation, guided practice and exercises, adjusting the pace and approach depending on what each student finds most helpful. My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling that they have made progress and are more confident in tackling the subject independently.
