How I work:
• Calm, patient, and empathetic
• Neuro-affirming and LGBT+ friendly
• Flexible and responsive to your needs
• Present and supportive, without rushing
• Gently challenging when helpful
• Supportive of accountability through small goals, mini-deadlines, cheerleading, and celebrating wins (big or small)
What you can expect:
• Clear explanations, adapted if something doesn’t land the first time
• A collaborative and respectful working relationship
• Space to ask for clarification without judgement
• Sessions that balance emotional safety and confidentiality, with practical progress.
Boundaries, respect, and safeguarding:
• I value transparency and mutual respect
• If you need something explained differently, you are encouraged to say so
• If at any point I feel a session needs to pause or end, I reserve the right to do so
• If you need to cancel a session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
• I do not offer counselling or therapy; if I feel your needs fall outside my remit, I will signpost you to appropriate support where possible
• If I am concerned about your safety or the safety of a vulnerable person, I will take appropriate safeguarding steps within my capacity. I have a duty to inform the necessary authorities and this would be the only time confidentiality is broken. I would discuss this with you first and ensure you understood the actions I was taking.
