I have a couple of years of experience doing voluntary online teaching, but about 20years of teaching in England, Spain and Mexico. I have taught students of all ages from all over the world, 1 to 1, multilingual and monolingual groups, from zero beginners to Proficiency level, conversation classes, Exam preparation, General and Business English. I have tailored my own lessons and been given a language school programme to follow.

I am also trained in ELKLAN and about to finish my L3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Specialised in SEND (which has lasted nearly 2years), that I am doing through the DfE. I have worked in a SEND school for the last 4years, where I have taught KS3 and KS4 subjects with bespoke curriculum and hands-on lessons that included self-regulation strategies, pastoral and social communication needs together with ongoing, statutory training on Safeguarding as well as SMART targets, EHCP Plans, Makaton, Communication, to name a few.

I have a natural ability to build relationships with children based on trust, respect, dignity and inclusion. I am passionate about delivering lessons that are engaging, relevant, rigorous, tailored to the individual; I am able to identify gaps in learning and change my lesson plan on the spot to accommodate to my learners' unique individual needs and professional or personal goals - whether functional skills, general purposes in English/Spanish as a Second Language, or academic targets.

I have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

With this amount of years of experience and the wide range of learners and classroom environments that I have been involved in, there's very few things I haven't done in a class yet!
