My lessons are interactive and pacey without being overwhelming. I like to use a variety of questioning to test and embed concepts to students and use hinge questions to further reinforce learning as checkpoints in order to readdress misconceptions or check for clarity of understanding in my lessons. My lessons always aim to practise learning through the power of repetition; whilst varying tasks and practising the all important 4 skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing in order to drill knowledge for students of all abilities. I always endeavour to encourage students to think independently in the later stages of my lessons; whilst the start is used as a scaffolding platform whereby students have time to think about the learning objectives and relearn the same specific vocabulary and grammar concepts through translation or other tasks such as a game of bingo or team competitions to ensure full engagement throughout their learning journey. I believe that my 15 years of teaching experience in the UK as well as France and the UAE has brought me so much to give: the flexibility and adaptability to be able teach on the spot when students are lost is a skill that takes years to excel in. Students will always feel a sense of achievement and encouragement when taught by myself, as I have lot of proven experience in teaching MFL and hope to share my love of languages and spread the joy of learning for all needs and varying abilities alike.
