I bring a calm, empathetic, and practical coaching approach, grounded in professional training and extensive experience supporting people through pressure, change, and self-doubt. I have completed an ICF-accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching and have over 20 years’ experience working with and developing people in high-pressure environments, alongside two years as a Samaritans volunteer listener and Mental Health First Aid training. Building trust is central to how I coach. I create a safe, non-judgemental online space where students feel heard, understood, and respected. I listen carefully, meet each student where they are, and work at their pace. Many students feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of themselves — my role is to help them slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and regain a sense of control and confidence. In sessions, I help students: - clarify what’s stressing them or holding them back - set realistic, achievable goals - develop practical skills such as time management, organisation, focus, and study habits - build confidence, resilience, and a healthier mindset around learning and performance I don’t lecture or tell students what to do. Instead, I guide them to reflect, problem-solve, and build self-belief, while offering gentle structure and practical tools they can use between sessions. Over time, students gain not just short-term support, but skills they can carry forward — feeling more confident, motivated, and capable in both their studies and everyday life.
