I use visuals, videos, storytelling, quizzes, role-plays, and practical exercises to make learning enjoyable, memorable, and effective. Each session encourages participation, builds confidence, and strengthens real-life communication skills. Drawing on my experience in drama, public speaking, and television news reading through the British Lanka Festival for the Performing Arts, I help students express themselves clearly and naturally. My academic background as a BA (Hons) English undergraduate, along with leadership roles like Deputy Head Girl and Senior Prefect, has shaped me into a patient, motivating, and organized teacher. I am approachable, encouraging, and committed to creating a positive learning environment. I focus on improving language skills while boosting students’ self-assurance, making them comfortable using English in conversations, presentations, and writing. My lessons suit beginners building a strong foundation, as well as advanced learners aiming to refine fluency and writing.
