Tammy has been a real find. Her English lessons are always very clear and well-structured, yet Tammy will always respond to the needs of the student on the day. The updates after every class are wonderful, and they really help you to feel a part of your young person’s education. Tammy has supported my son for 18 months now. Over this time, he has been able to move beyond his traumatic experience of high-school - with its consequent effect of rock-bottom educational self-esteem - to becoming a resilient young man who is now taking his GCSEs as an independent candidate. Tammy also recently stepped in as maths teacher when my son's tutor was on maternity leave. This meant he had continuity and minimal disruption at a crucial time. Working with Tammy has been transformative for both my son's learning and for his confidence, and we can't thank Tammy enough!

Tammy has been an absolutely fantastic tutor for my son. He has ADHD and works with her for two hours each week — one hour of English and one hour of maths — and he has made great progress. Her sessions support and reinforce what he is learning at school, and she takes the time to ensure he fully understands each topic before moving on. The communication and feedback she provides are outstanding — always thorough, personalised, and incredibly helpful for us as parents. We feel fully informed about his progress and how best to support him at home. Most importantly, my son feels very comfortable with Tammy. She creates a calm, supportive environment where he feels understood and encouraged, and this has had a huge impact on his confidence in class. He is now far more engaged with his learning and approaches schoolwork with a much more positive attitude.

Tammy is a superb tutor . My daughter has dyscalculia and autism and so maths has been impossible for her. Since having Tammy, she has not only said she enjoys maths but most importantly understands it! This is huge as she is 14 and has struggled it for years. Tammy has been an incredible support as we found ourselves with no school . I just happened to find Tammy and she has been incredible for my daughter. She has adapted to her needs and Bella her little dog really helped my daughter to settle. Highly recommend Tammy! A real specialist.

Tammy is one of the most incredible tutors I’ve ever had, she was so kind and helpful with all the advice she had given me and I’m progressing amazingly. She used a range of different methods such as colours to help me with my dyscalculia and I couldn’t be more grateful. I completely recommend her she is absolutely amazing, she is very patient and will make sure you are completely comfortable and understand what you’re learning in many ways. Tammy is a fantastic tutor, would highly recommend and so pleased we found her! My daughter was struggling with her confidence and had anxiety with English GCSE. She helped her to flourish and build her confidence back up, with great guidance and knowledge. She was calm, approachable and gave my daughter lots of reassurance during times of anxiety. We found tammy at a time where my son had suffered so much school based trauma that he completley disengaged with education. Tammy spent hours building a relationship with him and gaining his trust and slowly added in the learning. I never even thought for a second that we would be at the stage we are now with him having 2 sessions per week with tammy and he actively participates and thoroughly enjoys learning. The progress he has made and continues to make is nothing short of amazing and i truly feel blessed that we met tammy on this journey as she is such a fantastic tutor and goes out of her way to accomadate our families needs.

Tammy originally worked with my daughter in 2022 to build her KS3 maths ability and confidence, which has been badly affected by Covid and poor school teaching. We then reconnected with Tammy for additional maths tuition to support lots of gaps in her knowledge for GCSEs, again through lack of mainstream school support. Alongside this, my daughter had a recent diagnosis of autism/ADHD - so just needs a lot of repetition and practice for it to stick. Tammy offers such a positive, reassuring and calm approach to her lessons and teaching. She is always well prepared and has been brilliant at adapting to my daughter’s new online school timetable, and going over topics consistently until the understanding has been achieved. Tammy has also produced additional help sheets with step by step instructions on each maths topic to support some of the neurodiversity challenges faced. We’ll be working with Tammy throughout Year 11 and highly recommend her as a Maths Tutor. Thank you!

Tammy is amazing, my daughter had little confidence and suffered with anxiety. Tammy is an excellent teacher. Her passion for teaching is evident. She gives a regular constructive feedback that help me to strive to be better. The lessons are well-structured and her ability to adopt and adjust the lessons to meet the needs of her students is incredible.

Tammy is amazing! She has been tutoring my son for the last few years and has helped him develop a love of English literature and language which I would never have expected. She tailors her lessons to his interests and she really engages him in conversation and discussions which has been really important in develop his confidence in school. Tammy had been tutoring my son for well over a year. My son is dyslexic and has always struggled with English along with with low self esteem. Before he began his lessons with Tammy he had already written himself off in terms of any exams. Tammy has been so patient and absolutely brilliant with him, working hard to pitch the lessons at a level he can engage with. The transformation has been nothing short of phenomenal-he is now tackling his English exams and has gone from struggling to write half a page to happily writing 9 + pages and feeling quite confident of his efforts.
