I have a PhD in Mathematics and have been teaching KS3-KS5 for the last five years.

As a result of over 25 years of university teaching followed by working in secondary education, I have developed a method of emphasis on clear explanations, effective questioning, and encouraging students to articulate their thinking, helping them to become more independent and resilient learners. I am particularly skilled at adapting explanations to suit individual needs and identifying misconceptions quickly. I am confident in using a variety of digital tools to deliver engaging online lessons, including interactive whiteboards, video conferencing platforms, and shared resources. As has become a habit, I put a lot of work into tailoring each lesson to my students' needs.
