My name is Lucía, I am 24 years old and I am an English teacher who graduated from the teacher training college in Montevideo, Uruguay, called the Instituto de Profesores Artigas. My degree not only provided me with training in core areas such as teaching methodology, pedagogy, phonetics and English literature, but psychology also played a major part in my academic journey. Thanks to three years of extensive teaching placements in the country’s state educational institutions, as well as my additional work during and after graduation, I can say that I have experience with students of all levels and from many different countries, and I have excellent lesson-planning skills. I am passionate about supporting my students on their academic journey and seeing them succeed. In addition to my experience in state schools, I have also taught at private institutions and delivered online classes, an experience that has equipped me to design fully digital teaching materials and lessons.
