Friendly Maths tutor with 22 experience of teaching Maths in the classroom and online.

I have been a full time Maths teacher for 22 years now, 11 years of that have been as a head of department. I have tutored on and off for the entire time. I enjoy tutoring as it gives me the opportunity to get to know pupils on a one to one level and guide them through exams on a more personal level. I believe in making Maths 'easy' and accessible where possible. Depending on the level of Maths required, usually tutoring is done through a one to one problem solving approach, by which we work through problems together in order to improve weak areas.
