I am friendly and approachable and want to help others build confidence and achieve their goals.

I have experience tutoring GCSE triple science and A level chemistry. For each student I believe it is essential to tailor the lesson to the individual as it is not a one size fits all approach! This is why, once getting to know my tutee, I will make adjustments according to the individuals learning style and what will best support them. I think it is important to incorporate an ‘active’ learning style, using questions to prompt my tutee, to aid engagement. However, I ensure this is only incorporated once I feel they are comfortable with me and their confidence has been built. As a veterinary student I have trialled and tested most study techniques and can provide support for my students outside their lessons to help exam technique. As well as this, I have current knowledge of application processes and I am more than happy to provide support with this.
