Found your quote, but unsure what to say about it? Let’s build your argument.

I’ll draw on my PhD and five years of teaching English at Durham to help you build on your strengths and develop the skills you want. We’ll work together to create a step-by-step plan for academic success. For GCSE English, I’ll explain what each question asks and teach you how to tackle it. I’ll show you how readers build an interpretation from details in a text, making clear the steps that often go unexplained. I’ll teach you how to support a reading with evidence and write for a specific audience. At A-level, whether it’s a passage-based question or a comparative essay, we’ll test interpretations and build your argument. For IELTS, we’ll focus on the tasks you find hardest. You’ll get clear feedback on how to practise next.
