I am a final year medical student at the University of Liverpool with an academic background in science and a sincere passion for.

A lesson with me is interactive and tailored to the student’s needs and goals. Before the lesson, I like to identify the topics the student finds challenging and how I can be of help to them. I like to begin with a short recap and quick questions from the previous lesson to check understanding and identify any knowledge gaps. I then introduce the main topic and explain the key concepts step by step using diagrams, videos and examples. The lessons focus on active learning and I encourage students to answer questions, explain their reasoning which allows them to work through exam style problems with my guidance. This helps me assess their understanding in real time and adapt my explanations accordingly. For A-Level students, I place emphasis on exam technique and mark scheme language so they become familiar with what examiners are looking out for which allows for efficient time management too. I then provide revision tasks for independent study and outline what we will focus on next time. I tailor lessons by adjusting the pace and type of activities to suit each student’s confidence level. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and encourage students to become more independent learners.
