I am an experienced and passionate educational practitioner who empowers students to become independent learners.

I am a qualified teacher with QTS who has been teaching for 22 years and tutoring (both independently and through organisations) for over 9 years. I currently tutor students with EAL/ESOL requirements from a basic level (beginning words and phonic level) through to C2 level where I have taught foreign language student teachers. I have TEFL level 5 with Business and onlijne additions and IELTS as well as Functional Skills Maths and English.. I have developed and fostered the appropriate skills to ensure the optimum development of learners according to age, ability and aptitude. I am adept at creating an atmosphere conducive to ongoing learning while ensuring that the required curriculum is followed. I efficiently utilise my teaching and learning credentials to foster a positive, productive learning environment through ongoing observation and engagement.
