I am a qualified English teacher with over eight years of experience teaching English in schools, higher education, and online learning environments. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, specialising in English Teaching, as well as a Master's Degree in Higher Education Teaching and Applied Research. I have also completed international professional development in online education through the U.S. Embassy and Arizona State University. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from different educational and professional backgrounds. My experience includes teaching General English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), academic English, professional communication, and preparation for international English examinations such as IELTS and TOEFL. I have also taught English to university students from areas including Engineering, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Design, and International Trade. My teaching approach is communicative, practical, and completely adapted to each student's individual needs. Before beginning a learning programme, I identify the student's current English level, objectives, strengths, and areas that require improvement. From there, I develop lessons that provide a clear progression towards their goals. During my lessons, students are encouraged to use English actively rather than simply memorising grammar rules. Depending on their objectives, we can work on speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, or a combination of these skills. I use real-life situations and practical activities so that students can understand how English is actually used outside the classroom. For students who need English for professional purposes, lessons can include job interview preparation, workplace communication, presentations, professional vocabulary, CV-related language, and English for their specific professional field. For students preparing for international examinations, I focus on developing the skills and strategies required for the exam while also strengthening their overall command of English.
