My name is Catarina , and I am a linguist, translator, and European Portuguese teacher with experience in teaching Portuguese as a Host Language (PLA). I deliver A2-level Portuguese courses to help learners meet the language requirements for citizenship and residency applications. My teaching focuses on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through engaging, practical learning materials aligned with A1–A2 objectives. I also monitor learner progress through targeted activities and assessments to support their achievement of language proficiency goals. I am passionate about language education and helping learners develop the confidence and skills to communicate effectively in Portuguese.
