As a DELF B2-certified French language professional, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of the French language and culture and helping students develop confidence in communicating in French. Having studied French in France, I have gained a good understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, everyday communication, traditions and cultural values. My teaching approach is based on creating a friendly, supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, participating and learning from their mistakes. I believe language learning should be enjoyable, interactive and focused on practical communication rather than just memorising grammar and vocabulary. I would focus on developing students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through practical examples, conversational exercises, role-playing and interactive activities. I aim to explain grammar, vocabulary and sentence structures in a simple and clear manner, helping students build a strong foundation and gradually improve their fluency and confidence. I also believe that understanding French culture is an important part of learning the language. I would incorporate French traditions, festivals, cuisine, lifestyle, social etiquette and everyday expressions into lessons to give students a broader understanding of French-speaking communities. I understand that every student has different learning abilities and requirements. Therefore, I would adapt my teaching methods according to individual learning styles, language levels and objectives, providing encouragement and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. My 13+ years of professional experience in international business environments have strengthened my communication, interpersonal, organisational and cross-cultural skills. Combined with my French language qualification and enthusiasm for French culture, I aim to make learning French engaging, accessible and rewarding. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning French, communicate with confidence and develop a genuine appreciation of French language and culture.
