A distance-learning violin teacher whose lessons are for all ages and all abilities!

My approach to violin teaching combines strong technical foundations with an emphasis on musical expression. I adapt my teaching to each student’s individual needs and aspirations, whether preparing for performances and examinations or developing their musicianship more broadly. In addition to learning only the violin, I will also engage in other areas of musicianship, such as music theory, aural training, sight reading, music appraisal, and so on. I believe that students make the greatest progress when they feel encouraged and engaged, and I therefore strive to create lessons that are both structured and supportive.
