Advert description
I am an experienced and enthusiastic law lecturer with a strong background in teaching, curriculum design, and academic leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of modules including Contract Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Employment Law, Property Law, Constitutional and EU Law, and International Business across institutions such as Anglia Ruskin University, Bath Spa University, University of Salford, Bournemouth University, and Elizabeth School of London.
Currently, I serve as a Module Leader for International Business and Employment Law, where I lead curriculum delivery, coordinate marking standardisation, support teaching teams, and ensure consistent academic quality across multiple campuses. My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and adaptive to diverse learning styles, and I frequently integrate methods such as flipped learning, project-based learning, and blended delivery.
In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have supervised over 20 LLM dissertations in areas such as International Commercial Law, Business Law, and Intellectual Property Law, guiding students through rigorous academic research and critical analysis.
My skills include:
Curriculum development aligned with defined learning outcomes and university standards.
Assessment design and moderation, including leading standardisation meetings and supporting markers.
Student engagement and support, offering one-to-one guidance and creating inclusive learning environments.
Use of technology in teaching, including Moodle, Teams, Zoom, and blended/synchronised learning platforms.
Legal research and scholarship, underpinned by my ongoing PhD at the Centre for Islamic Finance, University of Bolton.
I am also committed to continuous professional development and academic innovation, with a focus on improving student outcomes and fostering inclusive academic communities.
