Compassionate full stack engineer helping beginners build confidence in coding

I'm Ellie, a full stack engineer with over five years of experience building web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js. I'm passionate about clean code, continuous learning and compassionate mentorship. As a lead instructor with Code First Girls and Love Circular, I've designed and delivered lessons in JavaScript, React, Node.js and Git to over 100 students. I've also volunteered with Codebar and CodeYourFuture, guiding more than 50 aspiring developers. My lessons are aimed at beginners and aspiring developers who want to build their skills and confidence. We'll break concepts down into manageable steps, work through practical examples and build projects together. I'll explain the thinking behind the code, give supportive, actionable feedback and adapt the pace to your goals. Whether you're starting with HTML and CSS or developing your React skills, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and learning as you go.
