Advert description
Let me be honest with you: science isn't hard. It's usually just badly explained.
I've spent over fifteen years teaching Biology, as a Head of Science, an IB Coordinator, and an examiner for Pearson, OCR, AQA and the IB. Before that, I earned my PhD in Molecular Biology at King's College London. So when I say I know what gets marks and what doesn't, I mean it quite literally — I'm one of the people doing the marking.
But here's the thing: credentials don't teach. People do. And my approach is simple. First, I find out where you actually are — not where your school assumes you are. Then we rebuild from there, one concept at a time, until the things that seemed impossible start to feel obvious. My students often tell me the same thing: "Why didn't anyone explain it like that before?"
In our lessons you'll get three things. A clear explanation of the topic in plain language with the "why" behind it – because memorising without understanding falls apart in the exam hall. Exam technique from someone who marks real papers: how to read a question, what command words actually demand, and where students throw away easy marks. And honest feedback. I'll tell you what's working and what isn't, kindly but directly, because that's how you improve.
I teach GCSE and IGCSE Science, A-level and IB Biology and Chemistry, and BTEC Applied Science. Whether you're fighting for a grade 4 or chasing an A* or an IB 7, the method is the same: understand first, practise properly, and walk into the exam confident.
Last year, every single one of my final-year students received a university offer. I'd like you to be next.
Book a first lesson, and let's see where you are — the rest we'll build together.
