I believe in the relevance of affective relationships between teachers and students in the teaching-learning process. There are various pedagogical studies about this issue based on the theory that affectivity has a strong influence on the students' cognitive process. As a teacher for years, I have realized that the student needs the authority of the teacher in the same way that he needs the affection. Learning based on this relationship of trust and mutual respect is what makes the teaching-learning process successful.
