My goal is to make Mathematics simple, practical, engaging, and easy to understand, regardless of a student's current ability level. When teaching online, I use a student-centred and interactive approach. I begin by assessing the student's current level, identifying areas of difficulty, and understanding their learning goals. I then develop lessons that are tailored to their individual needs and learning pace. During my lessons, I use a combination of step-by-step explanations, worked examples, interactive questions, visual demonstrations, practice exercises, and real-life applications of Mathematics. I encourage students to participate actively rather than simply listen to the lesson. I also regularly ask questions and give short exercises to confirm that the student understands each concept before moving to the next one. I am comfortable teaching Mathematics using online tools such as virtual whiteboards, screen sharing, digital worksheets, video conferencing platforms, and interactive learning resources. These tools allow me to recreate many of the benefits of a physical classroom while providing the flexibility and convenience of online learning.
