Real-life Portuguese lessons for all ages and levels with a relaxed and interactive approach

I help my students feel confident using Portuguese in real life — not just understanding grammar rules. In my lessons, we work on the Portuguese you actually need: speaking with people, understanding conversations, improving pronunciation, building vocabulary and becoming more comfortable expressing yourself naturally. I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals and personality. Some students want structured grammar and exercises, while others need more conversation, listening practice or help preparing for an exam such as CIPLE. Most of the time, I combine all of these skills so that you understand how the language works and, most importantly, learn how to use it. I like my lessons to be relaxed, practical and interactive. We use real-life situations, questions, short texts, conversation topics and activities that encourage you to speak as much as possible. I explain grammar clearly and simply, and I am always happy to go back, repeat or explain something in a different way. I have been teaching European Portuguese to international students since 2015, and I have worked with learners of many different ages, nationalities and levels. I know that learning a language can sometimes feel frustrating or intimidating, so my aim is to create a space where you can make mistakes, ask questions and gradually become a more confident Portuguese speaker.
