I tailor my lessons to the individual student or client, focusing on a dynamic style aimed at keeping you light on your feet and adaptable in the target language, making sure you're never flustered and always confident. I have a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Padua, Italy. I moved out there after having studied Italian for only a year, so know all the tips and tricks of picking up a language quickly! While I was there I studied translation science and language acquisition as well as cultural content such as Literature and film. I also taught English to primary school children in a classroom context, and had a couple of teenage private students. This taught me to create interactive learning material catered to specific contexts and the interests of my students. To me, studying languages is never about poring over textbooks and grammar, as it can harm your confidence and damage your love for the language, costing you valuable motivation.
