I have five years teaching English as a first language and 12 years teaching English as a second language

TEFL summer camps, Europe- I have coordinated and taught in over 60 wonderfully successful summer camps in Austria, 12 in Russia and five in France.

TEFL summer camps, UK- I have been an activity manager and leader in ten successful English summer camps.

English as a first language, academic year, UK- as head of department, I coordinated and taught iGCSE English for five years in an English state school. I have Qualified Teaching Status and I also have the accreditation to be the moderator for their final Cambridge English language and spoken exams.

TEFL academic year abroad- I have over 12 years experience in teaching all ages in Italy, Czech Republic, Myanmar and Russia. I also have a 98% student pass rate for Cambridge and IELTS exams from levels A2 to C2.

Academic aspects: Grammar is important in order to understand and be understood. However, having fun while learning the rules of grammar is just as important. I can explain the nuances of English grammar rules with consummate ease, and in a fun and didactic way, too.

Fun aspects: I have a wonderfully dry sense of humour and the ability to connect with the young.
