Advert description
Hello! I’m a fully qualified primary teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, PGCE, and QTS, and I bring a wealth of experience from across KS1 and KS2. I’m passionate about helping children grow in confidence, develop a love of learning, and achieve their full potential — especially those who may find school challenging.
I have extensive experience supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language needs, and emotional/behavioural barriers. I pride myself on creating a calm, supportive learning environment where every child feels understood, valued, and capable.
My teaching style is creative, patient, and highly personalised. I’m known for engaging even the most reluctant learners by tailoring lessons to their interests, strengths, and preferred learning styles. Whether a child needs help catching up, stretching further, or rebuilding confidence, I design sessions that meet them exactly where they are.
I regularly update my CPD to stay current with the latest teaching strategies, curriculum changes, and evidence‑based approaches. This ensures the support I provide is not only effective but grounded in best practice.
What I offer:
Primary tutoring (KS1 & KS2) in English, Maths, Reading, Writing, and SPaG
SEN‑focused support with tailored strategies and scaffolding
Confidence‑building sessions for anxious or reluctant learners
Curriculum‑aligned learning with clear progression
Engaging, personalised lessons designed around each child’s interests
Assessment‑informed teaching to identify gaps and track progress
Additional strengths:
Strong communication with parents

Warm, approachable manner that helps children feel at ease
Reliable, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
If you’re looking for a tutor who is friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping children thrive, I’d love to support your child’s learning journey.
