Advert description
I'm currently completing my PhD in Psychology and have four years of experience teaching university students plus five years of tutoring GCSE and A Level students. I offer psychology tutoring from GCSE to Masters level.
I can help with research methods, health psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, biological psychology, and psychological disorders. I'm particularly strong on research design, statistical analysis, and critical evaluation — the areas students often find most challenging.
For statistics, I can help with descriptive and inferential techniques, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, regression, correlation, SPSS, R, and research methods. I specialise in making statistics accessible and less intimidating — whether you're tackling your first research methods module or analysing data for your dissertation.
I am also very experienced in qualitative research methods, including conducting interviews and employing techniques such as reflexive thematic analysis.
What I find most rewarding about one-to-one tutoring is getting to know each student's individual learning style and adapting my teaching to suit them. I love seeing students grow in confidence and achieve results they didn't think possible — I once helped a GCSE student go from a predicted E to an A grade.
I have nine published research papers using both quantitative and qualitative methods, so I bring real-world research experience to my teaching.
